About Tech-ni-Fold

Tech-ni-Fold began with founder Graham Harris. After more than 20 years in print finishing — specialising in the difficult jobs, especially the creasing of greetings cards, brochures and book covers that cracked open or had to be outsourced — he built a device in his lunch hour that would fit onto the most popular folding machines. "I just couldn't believe it worked as well as it did," he recalls of the first time he saw it run. He soon made more selling his Tri-Creaser than in his day job, went full time, and built an army of resellers across Europe, the USA, Australia, Japan and Russia. Heidelberg — the world's largest printing-machine manufacturer — first told him it "would not be worth the plane fare" to visit; a year later they were so impressed they wanted exclusivity, and became one of some 25 resellers.

Tech-ni-Fold today. Built on the Tri-Creaser phenomenon, Tech-ni-Fold has expanded across the post-press sector, with over 500 unique products designed and sold through international partnerships and a strong distribution network in the UK, USA, Europe, Japan and Australia, plus the emerging markets of China and India. By July 2018 over 110,000 Tri-Creasers had been sold, establishing the company firmly as a world leader in creasing technology. The business stays true to its founding philosophy — listening to customers and turning their ideas into reality — backed by ongoing technical assistance and after-sales support from its purpose-built UK premises.
