Tech-ni-Fold Ltd is a UK business supplying print-finishing equipment and consumables to trade customers. This policy explains what personal data we hold, why, and your rights over it. We are the data controller; contact us at [email protected].

What we collect and why

• Account and order data — your name, business contact details, delivery and billing addresses, order history and payment status. Used to fulfil orders, provide support and meet our accounting obligations (legal bases: contract and legal obligation).
• Enquiries — anything you send via the contact form, email or phone, kept so we can respond and follow up (legitimate interest).
• Email engagement — whether emails we send are delivered, opened or clicked, so we stop sending what isn't wanted (legitimate interest). Marketing email is only sent where permitted and every message carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe; card numbers never touch our systems. Bank-transfer details you see on a pro-forma are our account details, not a request for yours.

Who we share data with

Only the service providers needed to run the business: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), hosting and databases (Vercel, Supabase), error monitoring (Sentry), our accounting system, and carriers who need a delivery address to deliver. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires.

Retention

Order and invoice records are kept for at least six years as UK tax law requires. Enquiry and marketing data is kept only while it remains relevant; unsubscribing stops marketing immediately.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and your basket working, plus privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics. No advertising trackers.
