1. Orders and payment
1.1 Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by Tech-ni-Fold Ltd (“Tech-ni-Fold”). Prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated and, unless agreed otherwise, are quoted in pounds sterling.
1.2 Payment terms
Customers with an approved trade account are invoiced on the credit terms agreed for that account. All other orders are payable in advance — by card at checkout or by bank transfer against a pro-forma invoice — and goods are despatched once payment has been received in full.
2. Delivery
UK delivery is charged at the flat rate shown at checkout. Customers may instead arrange their own collection using their preferred carrier. International delivery is quoted per order. Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed, though we make every reasonable effort to meet them. Risk in the goods passes to the customer on delivery.
3. Returns
Goods may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in their original packaging. Return carriage is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty, in which case we bear the cost. This is in addition to — never instead of — the guarantee below.
4. The Tech-ni-Fold guarantee
Our products are covered by the Tech-ni-Fold risk-free guarantee, including a full three-year workmanship guarantee: if a device malfunctions in any way within three years of purchase, we replace it at no cost. The guarantee does not cover misuse, accidental damage or normal wear of consumable parts. The full five-tier guarantee is set out on our About page.
5. Title and ownership
Title in the goods passes to the customer on receipt of payment in full. Until then the goods remain the property of Tech-ni-Fold Ltd.
6. Limitation of liability
Tech-ni-Fold's liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses, including loss of profits, production downtime or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Data protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
