Two finishes, millimetres apart, in one pass

Voucher books, NCR sets, coupons with tear-offs: the jobs that need a perf beside a crease, a cut beside a perf, or two lines millimetres apart. The Multi-Tool runs them all in one pass, in whichever combination the job demands.

Some jobs need two finishes millimetres apart. A voucher book with a perforation running beside the crease. An NCR set with two perf lines a few millimetres from each other. A coupon sheet with a cut-out and a tear-off edge on the same panel.

One tool cannot normally do two things that close together, so these jobs have always gone the long way round: a second pass through another machine, or out of the building to a letterpress cylinder, priced and scheduled by someone else.

The Multi-Tool holds two finishes in one housing. Set it up whichever way the job demands:

The Multi-Tool in its three combination set-ups: crease and cut, crease and micro-perf, cut and micro-perf
The three combinations: crease beside cut, crease beside micro-perf, cut beside micro-perf. Same housing, different loadout.

And the rest of its range

Multi-Tool running two micro-perforation lines millimetres apart
Double perf
Multi-Tool double cut removing a clean waste strip between two cuts
Double cut
Multi-Tool creasing cassette with steel females and colour-coded split creasing bands
Creasing cassette
Two perfs or two cuts millimetres apart, or the creasing cassette with colour-coded split bands. Six set-ups from one tool.

Every set-up runs on the same body, on the shafts your folder already has. A fixed position at one end, a floating holder that slides along the housing, and precision spacers that set the gap between the two finishes in 1mm steps, from 1 to 6mm. Load blades, a knife or a creasing band, and both finishes land side by side in one pass, at full folder speed.

And when the job only needs one finish, the same tool runs it alone: perf today, cut tomorrow, crease the day after. It reconfigures in minutes, so it never sits idle between the combination jobs it was bought for.
