Some work folds at the centre and tears off at both sides. Remittance forms with a stub each end, coupon sheets that fold once and tear twice, NCR sets that need the perforations sitting tight against the fold so the copies separate cleanly in the customer's hands.
That pattern, a crease with a micro-perforation either side of it, packed into a few millimetres, is beyond any standard tool layout. So the work has gone to a letterpress cylinder, or through the folder twice, with all the cost, queuing and registration risk that brings.

The CP Applicator holds the whole pattern in one housing, on the shafts your folder already has. A fixed perforation blade, a floating creasing band, a second floating blade, with the spacing set on precision spacers, and the perforations sit as close as 5mm to the crease line. Because all three finishes travel together, they cannot drift apart mid-run. Set it once and the pattern lands identically on sheet one and sheet five hundred thousand, at full folder speed.
