Web presses & converting lines

One cassette, every finish your web line needs

Creasing, scoring, micro-perforation, cutting and kiss-cutting, in any combination, positioned anywhere across the web. The cassette is a platform: what goes in it changes with the job.

Most finishing bought for a web line does one job. It is specified for the work you had when you bought it, and every new job either fits what it does or goes somewhere else to be finished.

A Technicrease cassette is a platform, not a single-purpose unit. It carries our devices on its shafts, several at a time, positioned wherever they are needed across the web. Which devices go in is a decision you make per job, not a decision the machine made for you years ago.

What goes in the cassette

Creasing device with orange band above its colour-coded channel
Creasing
Scoring band pressing a deep, wide score into plain stock
Scoring
Micro-perforating blade above its nylon sleeve
Micro-perforation
Cutting devices on the cassette shafts working a web
Cutting & kiss-cutting
Devices are chosen and positioned per job. Multiple creases across the web, a perforation beside a crease, a cut and a score together: whatever the job actually needs.

Everything is driven by the moving web, so adding finishes does not add drive systems, power supplies or synchronisation problems, and it does not slow the line. Add a device and the line keeps running at the speed it always ran at.

The cassette is built for your line: your web width, your positions, your mounting point. Tell us what the press is and which jobs you want to stop sending out, and we will specify what goes in it, or engineer the device that does not exist yet.
